Dr. Kenny Silva
Senior Pastor
Kenny is a native of Connecticut and veteran of the United States Air Force. He graduated from Berklee College of Music (’08) with a Bachelor of Music, Reformed Theological Seminary (’15) with a Master of Divinity, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School ('22) with a Doctor of Philosophy in Systematic Theology. Before going into full-time ministry, Kenny fixed radar in the Air Force, slung cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory, played guitar professionally in venues across the globe, and sold real estate in Nashville, TN. His ministry work has included various pastoral leadership roles at churches and ministries in Tennessee and Illinois. His most recent post before Hickory Grove was Interim Senior Pastor at Village Church of Lincolnshire (EFCA). Kenny's multi-disciplinary writing has been featured in a wide range of publications, from Forbes and Business Insider to LifeWay’s Collegiate magazine. He is also the co-author of How to Be Present in an Absent World (Zondervan, 2020) and author of Launch Your Life (Thomas Nelson, 2013). Kenny lives in Mount Juliet with his wife, Suzanne, and their four children: Cesar (7), Ellie (4), Sophie (3), and Maggie (1).

Rick Allen
Associate Pastor
Rick Allen, our associate pastor, has been in the pastorate for over 30 years. His work as director of Harvest Prison Ministry focuses on reaching the men behind bars. Married since 1975, Rick and Debbie are both originally from the Nashville area and have two sons and five grandchildren. Debbie also works with Rick as a vital part of the prison ministry.
Richard Jennings
Assistant Pastor

Richard Jennings has been in ministry for over 40 years. After serving 18 years as pastor at Faith Presbyterian Church in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Richard resigned in 2011 to work with Harvest Prison Ministry, as well as to continue his missions outreach to India and Sri Lanka. He and his wife, Jane, have six children and 18 grandchildren.
